Bedtime Stories

There's nothing quite like storytime, is there? I've been thinking about some old classics lately, and this seemed like a good place to start- wind the night down with the story, and sing them off to sleep with the songs. It was a close toss-up between this, The Princess Bride, or Treasure Island, but those last two aren't musicals. Unless you count Muppet Treasure Island, which I don't think I've ever seen.  And this musical is an old standby of mine, and I think one of Erika's favorites. Her very favorite is Spring Awakening, though that one is aggressively not for children.
Kira's a few months old here, at least old enough to sit up and move her head, so Demetri's five years and change, and Erika's thirty-one. And I forgot to put gray in her hair again. While I do think he usually goes by 'Metri, I also learned that a common nickname for boys named Demetri is Demi, which is super cute.  I also think I might prefer Erika with her short haircut, which is also the haircut she sports as Erik, her gender-flipped counterpart. 

Quick heads-up: I may be out of reach for the next week, since Monday starts the dress rehearsals for Treasure Island, and the show runs from Wednesday to Sunday.
